Hello and welcome to "The Vampire Slayer" RPG forum. Thank you for considering us for your role-playing needs. Before you join please read the following rules listed below, as everyone who joins is expected to have read and agreed to the following rules.
1.) Respect!
I don't expect everyone to get along, but I do expect members to respect the forum and keep personal disputes off of it. If you can't handle a dispute with another member then please contact a member of staff and we'll do our best to settle the situation.
2.) No Spamming!
Spamming is where you post one liners, one word responses, or spam your site link all over the board. Don't do it! While we have no word count please give your partner something to work with. The only exception to spam is the Forum Games section where post count is disabled. And you can share your site's URL in your profile.
3.) No Hotlinking!
Hotlinking is where you an image base URL on the site. Don't do it! Please use a free upload service like Imgur, Image Shack, or Photobucket.
4.) No Godmodding!
Godmodding is where you have an all powerful character who can't be beat. This is simply not how role-playing works. Please remember to give your characters weaknesses and flaws, even if they aren't listed in the Character Template, as we can tell when no weaknesses were given.
5.) No Powerplaying!
Powerplaying is where you launch an attack, say it hit, and then say how much damage it did. Don't do it! Please give your role-playing partner a chance to dodge/block/counter the attack. Alternatively, don't dodge everything as that can be seen as another form of godmodding.
6.) No Meta-Gaming!
Meta-Gaming is where you use information you attained out of character (OOC) in an in character situation (IC) don't do it! All information your character knows must be explained through IC means.
7.) No Killing!
Do not kill off another person's character without their expressed consent. If you do choose to kill off a character they can be brought back at a later time through magic or something else. As nobody in the Buffyverse stays dead for very long.
Thank you for reading. I hope everyone can abide by these simple rules and I won't have to add more. The goal of "The Vampire Slayer" RPG forum is of course to have fun and tell the stories you want to tell.
Until next time.
